Severance, Colorado
A new bank in Severance
Severance was founded as an agricultural community in the late 1800s. For many years the big business in the area was the raising of potatoes, onions, sugar beets and cattle. Then came the 1990's and other nearby towns began to grow as residential subdivisions sprouted all across the countryside. These days, the town still has that rural atmosphere but is almost surrounded by new construction... and bits of that new stuff are slowly making their way into town.
