Sanford, Colorado

The Sanford Post Office
Sanford was settled by descendants of the Mormon pioneers who first settled in Manassa. This is a primarily ranching and farming area in the central San Luis Valley. Once upon a time there was a reasonably healthy business climate here but over the years, most business activity has become centralized in Alamosa, about 15 miles to the north.
