Gypsum, Colorado
The town of Gypsum
Gypsum is named for a large gypsum deposit found nearby. It's that very gypsum deposit that made the town home to an American Gypsum mine and drywall manufacturing facility. Gypsum is also home to the Eagle Valley Regional Airport, the primary local airport feeding customers to the Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts.
