Caddo National Grassland
Caddo National Grassland is composed of two units (Ladonia and Bois d'Arc Creek) with a total of 17,873 acres. The property is in northeast Texas, in the Oak Woodland Prairie Region northwest of Fort Worth. As much as the property is known as a "Grassland," between 60 and 70 percent of the land is treed.
The administrative office for Caddo National Grassland is at the US Forest Service office in Lufkin but there is a ranger district office in nearby Decatur.
