The Ojito Wilderness Study Area is a 124-acre parcel of land sandwiched between the Ojito Wilderness and the Zia Reservation. It is being considered for inclusion into the wilderness itself. The only access to the property is across the wilderness.
Elevations on the property vary from about 5,650 feet to about 6,260 feet. It's a rugged and highly eroded piece of landscape.
