Schoodic Scenic Byway

The Schoodic National Scenic Byway begins at Taunton Bay and follows US Highway 1 south around the east side of Frenchman Bay to just west of Gouldsboro. At the intersection with State Route 186 the Scenic Byway turns onto that and goes south along the west coast of the Schoodic Peninsula. The route wraps around the Acadia National Park unit at the south end of Schoodic Peninsula, then turns northeast to end in Prospect Harbor.
